    Cancun: All-Inclusive vs. Traditional Resorts

    In January I attended a conference at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun. It was my first time traveling to Cancun and my second time staying at an all-inclusive resort. It seems crazy to admit now, but at the time I wasn’t looking forward to a mid-winter break in the Caribbean (yeah, I know). The negative news coverage about boot-legged liquor, sketchy cab drivers, and Americans getting drugged and assaulted at resorts had shown up on my news feed too many times over the past few years.
